In Bihar, the flood situation continued to improve even today. now There was no news of any casualties due to the flood affected areas of the state.

A press release from the Department of Disaster Management said that due to the decreasing water, people have started returning home in many places. There are still 2887 people in 8 relief camps created for flood affected people.

In Bihar, this year flood has killed 514 people.

According to the department, during the last 24 hours, 58 community kitchens were given food to 33,297 people.

According to the department, cash amount has been transferred in bank accounts of flood affected 188801 beneficiary families through RTGS today. 629 crore 2 lakh 44 thousand rupees have been transferred in bank accounts of 1048374 beneficiary families.

Gujarat Government’s Revenue, Education and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Bhupinder Singh Chudasama handed over check of Rs. 5 crore to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for chief minister relief fund .

Chandrasekhar Prasad Singh, Urban Development and Housing and Transport Minister of Jharkhand Government handed over a check of Rs. 5 crore to Nitish Kumar for the relief fund for the relief of flood victims from Jharkhand government.




The Chhattisgarh Government contributed Rs 5 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund through RTGS.

Nitish thanked the Government of Gujarat, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh for contributing to the Chief Minister’s relief fund and appreciated this social initiative of the governments of these states.

The Chief Minister said that everybody should show their sensitivity at the time of the tragedy and should extend the hand in the service of the victims.

Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Former Chairman of Bihar Vidhan Parishad, Avadhesh Narayan Singh, was present while presenting the check by Bhupendra Singh Chudasama and Chandreshwar Prasad Singh in the Communication Room located in the Chief Secretariat.

11.00 lakh has been given for the Chief Minister Relief Fund on behalf of Gadaen Phodrang Trust’s office of the Dalai Lama.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar thanked everyone for contributing to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and appreciated his social initiative. The Chief Minister said that everybody should show their sensitivity at the time of the tragedy and should extend the hand in the service of the victims.
