HRD Minister Hurt with the murder of Pradyumna, said, ‘My grandson also goes to school

After the brutal killing of seven-year-old Masum Pradyumna Thakur at Raiyan International School in Gururgram, serious questions have been raised about the safety of children in schools across the country. On this matter, HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that the incident of rape in school and childern muder in a school is quite alarming. Javadekar said, “I am very unhappy with myself, my granddaughter also goes to school.” She said that the government is considering measures to ensure the safety of children in schools.

Union Education Minister Javadekar said that instructions to security related to CBSE schools are being sent by the Ministry. The Supreme Court has also sent the reply which they have asked for. Javadekar said, “Another idea has come to mind why the driver of the school bus is a woman and more and more employees are women, which will improve the situation of security.”

The President of National Lok Samata Party and Minister of State for Human Resource Development Upendra Kushwaha also said that the killing of Pradyumna was very sad. He said that it is our endeavor that there should be no such incident in future and those who are guilty should be severely punished. Kushwah said that a committee of CBSE has also been formed on behalf of the ministry which will submit its report soon.




Upadhya Kushwah said, ‘The way the person gets inside the school with a knife in the bathroom, it seems that there was a lack of security in the school administration somewhere’. He said that the family should be trusted by the state government, the state government is also investigating, but according to the family’s demand, the state government should consider the CBI inquiry. He said that the local administration should respond to the lathi charge on the parents.
