‘Yuvraj Singh is God’s gift to Indian cricket’: former player Sandeep Patil

Sandeep Patil, former chairman of the National Selection Committee, has praised Yuvraj Singh. He has told Yuvraj the gift of God for Indian cricket. However, Sandeep Patil also said that if Yuvraj wants to play for the Indian team in the 2019 World Cup then his form and fitness should be good.

after out of the series against Sri Lanka, Yuvraj did not get a place in the first 3 ODIs against Australia. However, Patil hopes that Yuvraj Singh will return to the team.

Patil said about the possibility of joining the Yuvraj team in the 2019 World Cup, saying that ‘I am no longer a selector.’ 2 years is a long time, and by the way the player is injured nowadays, it seems that every player is under too much pressure.

Patil said that ‘yuvraj is a gift of God. I am a big fan of him and I will always remain his fan. But to return to the team he will have to score runs and fit into the fitness test.

There is a lot of talk about Dhoni today. Patil said those who are working with the Indian cricket team will decide on this. So it would not be my right to say about Yuvraj and Dhoni .

However, Patil lauded both Dhoni and Yuvraj both the players and said that they are both are Special Cricketer.

Tell you that Sandeep Patil was the Chairman of the selection committee of the Indian Cricket Team from 2012 to 2016. He kept his opinion about Yuvraj Singh. Yuvraj played his last series against the West Indies after Champions Trophy.

became the fifth player to represent the country 300 times in the format when he took to the field against Bangladesh in the ICC Champions Trophy semifinal this year.
