Arjan Singh was the hero of the Indo-Pak war of 1965 and was the only Air Force officer who was given the “Five Star rank”. He was given the responsibility of leading the Indian Air Force at the age of 44, which he played in a very good manner. In the battle of 1965, when the Indian Air Force was on the front front, he was its head.

Singh, who was flying over 60 different types of aircraft, played an important role in making the IAF one of the world’s most powerful air forces and making the world’s fourth largest air force.

Arjan Singh was known as a person who spoke very little. He was not only a fearless fighter pilot, but he had a deep knowledge of air power, which he used widely in air operations. He was awarded the country’s second highest civilian honor Padma Vibhushan in 1965.
