IPL 11: Dhoni will return to Chennai Super Kings, five players will be retain

New Delhi: Prior to the 11th season of the Indian Premier League, there has been great news for fans of Chennai Super Kings and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. After IPL Grwning Council meeting its confirmed that Dhoni will return in his first team CSK.




It was decided at the meeting that after the ban for two years, Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royal can retain three players. According to the new rules, IPL franchisee can connect five players with the team. Which is divided into two parts.

– The maximum of three players can be placed in both options.
– If a team does not retaken to any player prior to the auction, then he will have the right to Route three players during the auction.

Under the RETAIN policy, maximum three capped Indian players, maximum two foreign players and maximum two uncapped players will be available.
