New Delhi: As the date of the presidential election approaches, the process of selecting candidates in the government and the opposition has increased. In the meantime, former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Padam Padak Shri DCP CP Thakur has put the party in the dharmasankat by presenting its claim for the upcoming presidential election.
Dr. Thakur has said that there are as many scales as possible to become president, they all come true. Said that if the party considers their names, then they are ready to become the first citizen of the country.
It is known that CP Thakur is presently the Rajya Sabha member of BJP. He has also been the Union Minister and state BJP President in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Government.
Sources reveal that if the BJP makes CP Thakur a candidate, JDU can also support him from Bihar. He has a very good relationship with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Earlier, the name of BJP MP Hukumdev Narayan Yadav from Madhubani has also come with the next Vice-President. However, the BJP has not yet opened its cards regarding the President or Vice Presidential election.
