On the occasion of 70th birthday of Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad Yadav, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated two bridges on the Ganga, JP bridge (Patna to Sonpur) and Aara-Chhapra bridge. Deputy Chief Minister of the state Tejashvi Yadav along with Lalu Yadav was also present on this occasion. These two bridges are being called the lifeline of Bihar

The construction of the JP bridge was started in 2003, which has now been completed and the cost of construction of this bridge at a distance of 4.5 km has reached the cost of Rs.1500 crores.The people who go to the north from this bridge will get rid of lambos and jars. -The Chapra bridge will reduce the distance of about 30 kms

On this occasion Lalu Yadav thanked Nitish and Thashvi Yadav for targeting the center, saying that there was no money from Delhi to build this bridge. At the same time, Nitish Kumar said that Lalu Ji has made a significant contribution in building rail-cum-road. At the same time, the Chief Minister said on the National Highway that the work there is not being done properly, the situation is good with the State Highway.

With the opening of these bridges, there is a possibility of improvement in traffic conditions on the Gandhi Bridge, because of the continuous movement of vehicles, the movement of Gandhi Setu has become very bad, which can improve the recovery.
