Bihar:bihar kabaddi wrestling women player get rape threat

The national women’s kabaddi and wrestling player Ruby (changed name) living in Bihar wants to make a name in the world of sports. But due to racial hatred in his village, now he is telling Dabang not only to leave the game, but he is also threatened with rape if he does not listen to them.

Ruby is a resident of Pandarak village near Mokama, 40 kilometers from Patna. For the last few months, the area’s pressure is pressing him to leave the game. And if he does not do this, he is being threatened with rape. Ruby Yadav belongs to the society and is a national level player of Kabaddi. The same thing is going on in the people of the high Bhumoora caste of his village.

Regarding this, Ruby had contacted the local police two months ago and lodged a complaint against Dabangs. But the police did not take any action on that complaint. Ruby says that she goes to the kabaddi practice 25 kilometers away from her village every day, and the villagers are threatening her that she will be raped if she does not stop playing the kabaddi.

Actually, Ruby had defeated a girl from Bhumihar caste in a kabaddi tournament a few months ago and since then she has been being harassed by the Dabangs and is being tampered with from time to time.

In this connection, Ruby reached Patna on Saturday and along with SSP Manu Maharaj filed a complaint. After filing a complaint with Patna SSP, Ruby said that because Yadav comes from society, people of Bhumihar community are constantly harassing him and are pressurizing him to leave the kabaddi.

Surprisingly, SSP Manu Maharaj also acknowledged that Ruby had complained to the local police about 2 months ago, but the matter was routed through negotiations over it. But in spite of this, the dabongs did not stop harassing Ruby.

Patna’s SSP Manu Maharaj said that he will immediately take action against the accused and his arrest will be ensured.
