Bihar:Patna University to accept forms till June 15 for vocational courses
PATNA: Patna University (PU) on Tuesday completed the entrance test for admission to degree part I courses in the new academic session. On the last day of entrance test for science, about 75% of registered students turned up at different examination centres. PU dean of students’ welfare NK Jha said the low turnout of students could be due to poor results of intermediate science declared by the BSEB.
Altogether 5700 students, including appearing candidates, had applied online for admission to BSc honours courses.
Jha said,while result of entrance test for B Com would be published after June 15, those of Arts and Science would be declared around June 20. The last date for sending online application for admission to vocational courses at under graduate and post graduate levels is June 15.
He said, the entrance tests for these courses will be conducted by the colleges concerned from June 20 to 30. These courses include BCA, BBA, biotechnology, bachelor in library science, bachelor in journalism and mass communication, functional English, bachelor in social work, MBA, MCA and others.
