Bihar flood: PM Modi talked to CM Nitish, given trust of help,
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday talk Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to discuss the situation of flood in the state. PM Modi gave confidence to CM Nitish on all support from the Center to deal with the situation. The Prime Minister said that the situation is closely monitored.
PM Modi said, “My worries are with people affected by floods in some parts of Bihar.” The Prime Minister’s Office tweeted, “The Center assures full support to the Bihar Government in tackling flood situation. Teams from NDRF headquarters are in Bihar for relief and rescue work. ”

Due to rain in areas adjacent to Nepal and rain in the Seemanchal district, rivers like Mahananda and Kankai are on the rise due to flood situation in four districts. The Chief Minister demanded to deploy 10 additional NDRF companies in the state. In addition to this, the demand for deployment of Indian Air Force helicopters was made to run relief and rescue operations.
