Voting for the MCD election in Delhi today, 2537 candidates in the fray

Gift for first time voters
According to State Election Commissioner S.K. Srivastava, 68 Model Polling Stations have been set up in 68 Assembly Constituencies. Special arrangements have been made for voters who cast their votes for the first time. To encourage new young voters, gifts like rose flowers and chocolates will be given to them. The number of 18 years of voters is about 25 thousand.

Total 2537 candidates fielded
Please tell you that this time 2537 candidates are trying their luck in the MCD election, the maximum of which is 1004 candidates in North MCD. After this, 985 in South MCD and 548 candidates in East MCD are in the fray.

Rebellion can spoil game
The Congress has fielded 271 candidates for 272 seats for the three seats, while the BJP has 267 candidates while the Aam Aadmi Party has given tickets to 272 candidates. It is not easy for the parties to deal with the rebels in this election. Nearly 50 rebel candidates are in the fray. There are around 100 rebel areas in the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party.

The main contest in the 2012 elections was between the BJP and the Congress. BJP got huge majority in the elections. Of the 272 seats, BJP got 138 seats and Congress got 77 seats. The BSP won 15 seats. On the other hand, the contest is interesting after the arrival of the Aam Aadmi Party and Swaraj Party in this time of elections.

Use of the tamper -proof EVM
State Election Commissioner SK Srivastava claimed that there is no scope for mess and tampering with EVM-1 being used. He told that EVM machines have also been checked in front of the candidates and their representatives. The total voter in the three MCDs is about 1 crore 34 lakh 23 thousand 783. About 1 lakh employees will be present at the polling station.

Although EVMs will reach at 6.30 am in polling stations. While voting will be from 8 AM to 5 PM. Many government schools are being used for elections in Delhi. Because of the Sunday being today, people are expected to reach more and more voting.
