Bangladesh create history by defeating Australia for the first time in 17 years
The 9th ranked Bangladesh in the Test has create history by defeating former Test number 1 and the current fourth-placed team by 20 runs. This is the first win on Australia in Test cricket history in Bangladesh, before Bangladesh won only Zimbabwe, West Indies and England in Test cricket. Australia became the fourth country, who lost to Bangladesh in Test cricket.

After getting the Test status in 2000, Bangladesh and Australia had 4 matches, except for an existing match, in all these matches Bangladesh had to face defeat. In the match, Bangladesh had a huge upheaval, in response to the target of 265 runs on the third day, Australia had scored 109/2 on stumps and they were 156 runs away from the win, but the fourth day was not started according to Australia. On the fourth day, David Warner (112) was out by Shakib Al Hasan. Warner made a century, but when the team was just 107 runs behind the win, then they were out.
After Warner’s dismissal, captain Steve Smith was also dismissed at 37 runs. After this, none of the batsmen got stand and the whole team of Australia got stacked on 244 runs. On Shakib Al Hasan, Bangladesh took 5 wickets in the second innings.
