Batesweshwar Ganga Pump Canal project broked before inaugraution in bihar,CM Nitish Kumar has now postponed his visit

The eclipse once again took place on the Batesweshwar Ganga Pump Canal project, which started 40 years ago in Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur in Bihar. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was inaugurate the project on Wednesday, but before that on Tuesday afternoon the dam broke the canal , due to which the canal water entered in several residential areas in Kahalgaon.

Due to the breakdown of this dam its inauguration has been postponed. After getting information about the incident, the DM and SSP of Bhagalpur immediately reached the spot. Due to the canal dam breaking, there is an atmosphere of aggravation in the area and people are scared. Due to the broken of the canal, NTPC project, which is operating in Kahalgaon, water has entered in residential areas .




According to sources, when the water was released in the canal for the trial on Monday, in many places the leakage was found in the dam. Because of this, there was a stroke in the project people and the engineers. Engineers working in this project tried to fix the problem of leakage in the dam but it seems that no success has been achieved and due to this, the canal dam broke down before the inauguration on Tuesday.

It is worth noting that Jharkhand was going to get its full benefit from this project in Bihar, but due to the canal dam being damaged, the project has been delayed once again. At the same time, CM Nitish Kumar has now postponed his visit.
