New Delhi: The presidential nominee of the NDA and Governor of Bihar, Ramnath Kovind, said on Monday that he will meet the leaders of the major political parties and demand his support for the candidature for the post. After coming to Patna from the evening, Kovind met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah. BJP today declared him the NDA’s presidential candidate. Kovind remained at the residence of BJP chief for about an hour and it is understood that both discussed the formalities of the presidential election. Here the senior BJP leaders welcomed him.

Kovind said that he is a small citizen who has been given great responsibility. He said, “Whichever members of the electoral college, I will meet the leaders of major political parties and I will call for their support. I hope every citizen will support me. ‘ After meeting Modi, Covind briefly visited Bihar residence where he did not answer any question of the media and only said so, ‘I thank everyone for all.’ ‘Non-NDA parties like BJD, TRS and YSRCP have announced their support to Dalit leader Kovind. He can file his nomination on June 23.
