bihar: Court to decide next move after shahabuddin declines lie detector test

Former MP and senior RJD leader Md Shahabuddin, accused of several crimes, including the killing of Siwan scribe Rajdeo Ranjan, is not cooperating with the CBI, which consequently pressed for further extension of his remand. Rajdeo was shot dead on May 13 last year near Siwan railway station.

The CBI officials also requested the court for its ruling on the issue of conducting scientific test like polygraphy, narco and brain mapping tests of the RJD strongman.

Shahabuddin appeared before the special CBI court of north Bihar at Muzaffarpur on Friday after an eight-day remand through video conferencing in the scribe murder case, where the special court of Anupama Kumari heard the matter of extension of remand of the former MP.
