Bihar: Seven IAS officers, including two district magistrates, were transferred in a fresh reshuffle

PATNA: Seven IAS officers, including two district magistrates, were transferred in a fresh reshuffle carried out by the state government on Tuesday.

In a related development, Ravi Mittal, principal secretary, finance, was relieved for central deputation.

Shirshat Kapil Ashok, currently managing director of Bihar Rajya Jal Parshad (BRJP), will take over as the new district magistrate of Madhubani, replacing Giriwar Dayal Singh, who will be joining the education department as joint secretary.

Pradeep Kumar Jha, who is posted as additional secretary with health department and holding the additional charge of additional executive director of Bihar Health Societies, will be the new DM of Purnia.

Pankaj Kumar Pal, the outgoing Purnia DM and currently on compulsory on-job training, will join as special secretary in the labour resources department.

he will be holding the additional charge of additional chief executive officer of Bihar Kaushal Vikas Mission and director, recruitment and training, in the labour department.

Sanjay Kumar Singh, additional secretary with the labour resources department, will join the health department in the same capacity. He will have the additional charge of additional executive director of the Bihar Health Societies and MD of Bihar Health Infrastructure Development Corporation till further orders.

Pratima S Verma, additional mission director, Bi h ar Administrative Reforms Mission Society and presently on-job compulsory training, will join as MD of BRJP and hold the additional charge of chief executive of Patna Metropolitan Planning Authority.

Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal, additional secretary posted with the CM secretariat, has been shifted to the rural development department in the same capacity.

Meanwhile, the state government has relieved a 1986 batch officer Ravi Mital, presently posted as principal secretary of the finance department, for central deputation. He will join as additional secretary in the economic services department, government of India, after June 15.

The state government has already notified transfer of D S Gangwar, principal secretary of general administration department (GAD), to the finance department in place of Mital once he demits the office.
