Bihar:200 engineers to be appointed on contract basis in road construction department,hiring process started

200 assistant engineers will be appointed on the contract in the Road Construction Department. The process of appointment of engineers has begun.

Road construction minister Nand Kishore Yadav said on Saturday that the reservation policy of the state government and the ideal roster will be followed in the appointment of the engineers on contract. 200 posts to be restored. Of them, 30 Scheduled Castes, 58 for Backward Classes, 32 for Backward Classes, 6 for Women of Backward Classes and 73 for General category are reserved.




The minister said that the assistant engineers to be appointed on contract will be given an honorarium of Rs. 55,000 per month. It will also be amended from time to time. Applications will be made for this from January 15 to February 9.
