Bihar:Patna-Buxar Four lane work start from June

Patna: The construction of the Patna-Buxar Four Lane that has been interrupted for the last two years will now come in handy. Construction of four lanes will start from June next month. The work will start on the Coilver-Ara section. Land acquisition has been done for this 28 kilometer road. Along with this, work will be started for the construction of new bridge in Koyelver. Two years ago, PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for road construction in this section in the assembly of Ara.

About one month after the start of work in this section, work will begin in the Aara-Buxar section in July. The contractor has been instructed to start road construction. The Road Ministry has changed the guide line of 90 percent land acquisition on the construction of four lanes.
Due to not getting 90% of the land, work has been interrupted despite the selection of the contractor for the last two years. For this reason, the Ministry has decided that construction of road construction can be started on 75-80% land acquisition. Patna-Buxar Four Lane is to be constructed in three sections. NHAI official sources said that construction of road construction on Koyilver-Ara section in Patna-Buxar Four Lane will start soon. The contractor has been instructed to start the work. Due to the slow pace of land acquisition, the work of construction of four lanes has not started.

125 km of four lane will be constructed in three sections

Construction of 125 kilometers of four lanes between Patna-Buxar is to be in three sections. In the first section, 165 hectares for 33 km of Koyilvar, in the second segment, 199 hectare for Koyrail 44 Km and 193 hectares for Buxar 48 km from Ara in the third segment. According to the information, land acquisition has been done for constructing 28 km roads in Coilvar-Ara section. For this reason, work in this section will start soon.

Land acquisition for only 12 kms has been taken from Patna to 33 kms in Koyilvar. In order to build the first part of the Coilvar part from Patna, jointly two companies PNC and SP Singhala are included in Buxar second and third part of the Aara and Aara from Hyderabad, Madhukan and Coilvar. About 1900 crore expenditure is estimated on the construction of Four Lanes.
