Bihar:patna medical college junior doctors on strike seven patients died due to lack of treatment

junior doctors of Bihar’s largest hospital Patna Medical College have gone on an indefinite strike since Wednesday night. After going on strike of 450 junior doctors, the health system in PMCH has collapsed and 7 patients have died due to lack of treatment.

Actually two days ago, during the post-graduation medical council on Monday, the junior doctors were confronted with the police. Junior doctors who came for counseling started a ruckus at some point, after which there was a violent clash with the police that came to silence the disorder. Four junior doctors sent to jail
In this incident, the police arrested 4 junior doctors and sent them to jail. Angry by the brutality of the police and sending his 4 companions to jail, the angry junior doctors decided to go on strike from Tuesday night. Jr. doctors demand that he will continue to oppose till the government does not leave his four companions in jail and the guilty does not take action on the police.

In the Bihar government’s largest government hospital, the PMCH administration has approached the Civil Surgeon in nearby 3 districts, Nalanda, Bhojpur and Buxar and convened a team of 20 doctors to treat the patients in PMCH. The most affected are Emergency and OPD services. Jr. doctors have threatened that if their demands are not considered today, then they will go on indefinite strike from tomorrow.
