Chandigarh tampered: barala to be surrounded by its own party, but will not resign BJP

In Chandigarh, the BJP leader and son of Haryana state president Subhash Barla’s son is catching the issue of flirting with a girl. It is worth noting that on Friday night, a girl complained to the Chandigarh police about tampering and kidnapping. After this, as the news of this matter started coming in the media, there was a flood of political statements across the country. Due to the involvement of the BJP leader and the party’s power in the state, the opposition is more aggressive. So there are many people in BJP who are openly condemning this incident.

However, now BJP has cleared its stand on Subhash Barla’s resignation. National General Secretary of the party tweeted that Subhash Barla’s resignation will not be taken. On the other hand BJP MP Anurag Thakur has also condemned the incident. Thakur has said that raising a question on the girl is wrong; boys should question it.

Friday Night Event

The incident took place when the victim was going towards Panchkula from Sector 9 at about 12.35 am on late night. It is alleged that two youths in Tata Safari started pursuing from sector 26 market area. The girl alleged that many accused tried to stop her car and forced another to go on some other way. At the time of the incident Vikas Barla was accompanied by his friend Ashish Kumar.

Saturday’s arrest and bail

Police registered a case against the son of Haryana BJP president Subhash Barla and his friend against the tampering charges. The police arrested both the accused on Saturday. After which development got bail. About this, Deputy Superintendent of Police (East) Satish Kumar had told on Saturday that both the youths have been arrested and a case has been registered against them under Section 354D of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). However, later the section 341 of IPC was also imposed against them.
