CM Nitish gives directions to officer’s , give grant to the flood victims before Bakrid

Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday held a review meeting through video conferencing of important programs along with District Officials and District Officials of all the districts. During this, detailed discussions on flood relief works, preparations for upcoming festivals, problems of law and order, alcohol prohibition, and other important topics were discussed. On this occasion, the Chief Minister instructed that cash subsidies be given to flood affected families as soon as possible. He said that he would be happy, if the funds given to the flood affected families before the Bakrag festival should be made available to the amount of cash grants as per the prescribed criteria. He also said that the bank accounts of those who are not accountable should be opened so that the funds could be transferred through RTGS.




Regarding maintaining the upcoming festivals and maintaining law and order, the Chief Minister said that social harmony and mutual love and brother-in-law are the tradition of Bihar, it has to be maintained in any case. They instructed to keep an eye on anti-social elements. Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh, Development Commissioner Shishir Sinha, Director General of Police PK Thakur, Principal Secretary / Secretary of various departments, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Chanchal Kumar, Chief Minister’s secretary Achish Chandra, Chief Minister’s secretary Manish Kumar Verma, other senior officers was present.
