CM Nitish reached the doorstep of the Goddess Durga, prayed for peace, prosperity and progress of Bihar

Patna. Goddess durga’s is such a majesty that what is big and small, they are running in Goddess dunga feet with reverence and devotion. On the eighth day of the Shardhi Navaratri i.e. Mahaashtami, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar went to various Shaktipeethas of Patna and worshiped.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar performed puja at various temples here on the occasion of “Mahaashtmi” of Navratra festival and prayed for peace, prosperity and progress of Bihar and its people.




Let me tell you that CM Nitish Kumar first reached the historic Shaktipeeth Badi Patandevi and Chhoti Patandevi temples at Patna City and worshiped Durga, after which he reached the temple of Sheetla Mata. On this occasion, the mahant of the temple also honored the Chief Minister.

The CM prayed for peace, prosperity and progress of Bihar and its people. Kumar was accompanied by state Road Construction Minister Nand Kishore Yadav, his party MLC Ranvir Nandan and senior officials.

After performing puja at Badi Patan Devi temple, Kumar inaugurated the community hall which was constructed on the temple premises. Kumar also visited Gandhi Maidan and inspected the preparations for “Ravan-vadh” programme on Dussehra.
