Complaint against DU teacher over objectionable post on Goddess Durga

New Delhi: Delhi University is once again in disputes. This time, student is not the root of the controversy, but the Assistant Professor of Dayal Singh College of the University. He is accused of writing objectionable posts on Facebook about Hindu Goddess Durga.

Kedar Kumar Mandal, Assistant Professor of Dayal Singh College, has alleged that he wrote objectionable posts on Hindu Goddess Durga through his Facebook post on Friday at 7:30 pm on Friday, but after the dispute increased, it was deleted.

The BJP-backed National Democratic Teachers Front (NDTF) has lodged a complaint with the accused Professor Lodhi Colony Police Station. Police say that they have received a complaint but FIR has not been registered yet.

The BJP student body ABVP has demanded suspension immediately after taking strong action against the professor. ABVP has demanded action against the professor immediately and has appealed to students to boycott their classes. ABVP says that Professor has hurt the feelings of Hindus on the occasion of Navratri.

ABVP argues that if such teachers are allowed to teach, then they will work to spread hatred among students.Read more
