ITC Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Pya met the Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Saturday, after which it was revealed that the ITC will soon invest Rs 500 crore in the area of ​​biscuits, noodles, cookies and other food products in Bihar . ITC has submitted a proposal to the Bihar Government regarding this.




ITC said that in the last four years, he has invested Rs 400 crore in dairy, food processing and other fields in the state. Dairy has been set up at a cost of Rs 150 crore in Munger, where processing of 2 lakh liters of milk per day is done.

For this, milk is collected from 5000 farmers of 400 villages. The flagship brand of ITC, ‘Swasti’ is a product of Dhummer Dairy. Apart from this, ITC is also working to improve the breed of 3 lakh animals.
