Delhi HC Refuses Interim Protection For 20 AAP MLA’s Disqualified By Election Commission …

New Delhi: Twenty legislators of Aam Aadmi Party, who lost their chair in the post of profit, had to return empty handed from the Delhi High Court. The Delhi High Court today refused to give any kind of relief during the hearing.

On behalf of the Election Commission in the court, even before the legislators came to the court, the commission sent a recommendation to the President. So there is no need for hearing now. The Election Commission said that there is no need to impose counter apfit.

The court told the legislators that the demand for which the petition was filed in the court has no meaning. You either withdraw the petition or we are rejecting it. After this, the MLAs withdrew the petition.




With the President’s approval on the recommendation of the Election Commission, membership of 20 Aam Aadmi Party MLAs has now been canceled.

Among these twenty MLAs Kailash Gehlot who is a minister in the Kejriwal government also involved. Now the moral pressure of resignation can increase. However, according to the rules, a person can remain a minister for six months without being a member of the House.
