Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s name removed from voting list

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s name has been removed from the voter list.Vajpayee’s name has been removed from the Sudamapuri voter list of Gautam Buddha Marg of Lucknow. Atal Bihari had voted for the last time in 2004 and after that, he did not vote due to poor health. Vajpayee’s name has been removed in voter revision. Let us know that Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a voter with Babu Banarasi gulam ward.




Recently, there were reports during the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections that the name of Atal Bihari Vajpayee could be removed from the voters’ list. Let us know that Vajpayee had voted in the 2004 Lok Sabha elections and this year he had contested for the last time. After that, he did not vote in the assembly elections of 2007, 2012, 2017 and the 2009 and 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

It is worth mentioning that Vajpayee had won from Lucknow in 1991, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2004 and for the first time in 1996, for 13 days and then from 1998 to 2004, he was the Prime Minister of the country.
