Former Samajwadi Party Leader Naresh Agarwal Regrets His Remarks on Jaya Bachchan

new delhi[mithilanchalnews]:-Naresh Agarwal, a former Samajwadi Leader who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday regrets calling SP leader Jaya Bachchan a ‘film wali’.

Just moments after joining the BJP, Agarwal remarked that he quit Samajwadi Party because he was put on par with a film actress and his ticket was given to her instead. His comments were severely criticised by social media and various political leaders with BJP leaders Smriti Irani and Sushma Swaraj lashing out back at him too.



Naresh Agarwal later apologized for his remarks and claimed that his words were given a different angle by the media houses.

“All I can say is that I didn’t intend to hurt anyone. I express my regret if I did hurt anyone. I take back my words.”



Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav took to Twitter and criticized him for the insulting comments he made on veteran actress Jaya Bachchan.
