New Delhi, September 7 (Bharat):Host India is placed in Group B with World Champions Australia and Olympic bronze medalist Germany in the men’s Hockey World League Final, which will be held in Bhubaneswar in December, while their first match will be from defending champions Australia on December 1.
The International Hockey Federation announced today the program of Men’s Hockey World League Final to be held from December 1 to 10 at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. In this, India has been placed in Pool B with Germany, World Cup and World League Champions Australia and Euro Hockey Championship championship bronze medalist England. Olympic champion Argentina, European champion Netherlands, Olympics silver medalist Belgium and Spain teams in Pool A Are there.
The tournament will start with Germany and England match. While India and Australia will be face-off in the second match on same day. India will play from England on December 2 and Germany on December 4.
Pool match’s will be played from December 1 to 5, while the quarter finals will be on December 6 and 7.
Semi-finals and classification matches will be played in the next two days, while the final and bronze medal match will take place on December 10.
