Independence Day 2017:World leaders wishes PM modi on Independence Day

New Delhi: Leaders from many countries of the world congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 71st Independence Day through social media. On Monday, US President Donald Trump called and congratulated PM Modi for Independence Day.

 




Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani tweeted Modi and greeted Indian nationals on Independence Day. Ghani said, “I would like to congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the great public on India’s Independence Day. Our friendship will always remain intact. ”

PM Modi tweeted, “Thank you my friend for wishes on the Independence Day of India, President Ashraf Ghani.”

Prime Minister Modi start geeting congratulating from neighboring countries this morning. First of all, at 9.35 am, Bhutan Prime Minister Shergon Tobgay tweeted on Twitter and congratulated Modi. In his message, while expressing the best wishes of Independence Day to all Indians, India and Bhutan expressed the hope of continuous strengthening of friendly relations. He tweeted, “I compliment my Indian friends on the Independence Day.”

Sri Lankan President Maitripala Sirisena tweeted India as a close friend of the country, giving all the Indians the best wishes of Independence Day.
