Independence Day Special:India given 30 ambulances in gift to Nepal on Independence Day

Kathmandu: On the occasion of Independence Day, India today gave 30 ambulances and six buses as gift to hospitals, religious organizations and academic institutions of Nepal. India’s Ambassador in Nepal, Manjeesh Singh Puri, handed over the key to the representatives of different organizations today in a program organized at Indian Embassy campus located in Kathmandu.

 




A program was organized in Kathmandu to celebrate Independence Day. Puri read the message of the President of India after unfurling the flag, in which, in the last seven decades India had got different achievements in different areas.

On this occasion, Puri has distributed blankets and 5.73 crore Nepalese rupees checks to widows of martyrs of Indian Armed Forces and their families . The Indian Embassy in a statement told that 61 libraries and educational institutions of Nepal have also been given gifts in books.
