India-A defeats South Africa A to 6 wickets in four-day test match

Pachetstrum: On the best innings of captain Karun Nair (90), India A defeated South Africa by six wickets on the last day of the second unofficial Test match on Tuesday. India-A got the target of 224 runs in the fourth innings, which was achieved by losing four wickets on the fourth and final day. With this, this series of two Test matches ended at 1-1.

On the fourth day, South Africa’s second innings collapsed on 276 runs. Shahbah Nadeem, who took 4 wickets in the first innings, took three wickets in the second innings. Ankit Rajput also took three wickets.

The easy-to-reaching goal of India-A team was the first blow to Siddharth Chatterjee. Siddhartha, who made 18, was dismissed for a total of 36. Shreyas Iyer (15) also could not stay on the wicket for much time and was out on 55 scores.

Standing on the other end, opener Ravikumar Samarth (55) got the captain together and both of them reached the score of 100. Samarth Raut was out on a total of 129, but Nayar, along with Ankit Bawana (not out 32), brought the team to the threshold of victory.

Nair was out with the help of 13 fours in 144 balls when the win was two runs away. Hanumant Vihari, who came to his place, gave victory to the team.
