Chandigarh: In spite of bilateral tensions, India and Pakistan jawans congratulated each other on the international border of Punjab on the occasion of 71st Independence Day of India on Tuesday.

According to official sources, officials and personnel of BSF gave exchange of sweets to Pakistani Rangers at the Attari Joint Check Chowki, Hussainawala border of Ferozepur district and at the gate of the border of Fazilika district. Recently, on both occasions due to bilateral tensions, both sides stopped giving sweets and congratulations.
