J & K: A militant killed in the encounter with security forces in Pulwama

Srinagar: A militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in the Taral forest area of ​​Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. A police official said that on the basis of information of the presence of terrorists, the security forces surrounded the Gujjarbati forest area and launched the search operation.




Police officials said that after hearing the sound of the bullets during the search operation, the security forces hastened the operation. He said that the encounter started after the security forces reached close to the militants, the encounter started. He told that a terrorist has been killed till now.

The official however said that he has not been able to identify yet. The operation continued till the final news was received.
