jdu may take action against sharad yadav if he will join rally organised by lalu yadav on 27 august

Patna: JDU gave ultimatum on Saturday to Sharad Yadav ,the occasion of organizing ‘Jan Adalat program’ without participating inJDU’s national executive. JDU said that if he participates in a rally organized on behalf of Lalu Prasad in Patna on August 27, then he would prove to be a Lakshman line for him. JDU said that after that the action can be taken on behalf of the party on Sharad Yadav. According to sources, if Sharad Yadav participates in the rally on 27th August organized by Lalu Yadav, Nitish Kumar can recommend his cancellation of Rajya Sabha membership. The party is collecting evidence against Sharad Yadav.

After the national executive meeting held at the residence of JDU National President and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the party’s general secretary KC Tyagi said that he and Sharad Yadav have a relationship of 43 years. JDU is a democratic party and anyone can object to the party’s decision. Tyagi said that Sharad Yadav had been requested to come to the meeting today, but instead of doing so, he continued to meet with RJD leaders during his Bihar visit.

Given the seniority of Sharad Yadav, the party did not take any action: Tyagi

KC Tyagi said that he has shared heritage conclave, but despite his anti-party activities, JDU did not take any action against Sharad ji till now. He said that it was necessary to remove Sharad ji as the leader of the party’s parliamentary party, because he was becoming a obstacle in the campaign which was being organized at the national level by the party’s national president. There was a separate parallel JDU within Delhi, across the country and Patna had a separate JDU. Therefore, in his place, RCP Singh was made the leader of the parliamentary party so that the national president of the party could be kept eyes in Parliament also.
