Latest BWF Ranking: PV Sindhu has remained fourth,Saina has moved up to number 12

new Delhi. Despite winning the silver medal in world championship, India’s PV Sindhu has remained fourth in the world ranking. while bronze medalist Saina Nehwal has moved up to number 12 with four-place improvement.

Sindhu had to face defeat in the final by Nozomi Aikkahara. In the latest rankings of Sindhu ,fourth place remains. There is no change in the top eight places in the women’s rankings.




Tai Tai’s Xi Xing Ying is on the number one. The new world champion has joined the top-10 with three improvements, and now it is ninth.

Saina, who won a bronze medal, had to suffer a loss in the semi-finals.But he has gained four places and now he has reached 16th to 12th position. In the quarter-finals of the championship, Kidambi Srikanth has reached the eighth position with two place improvement in the men’s rankings.

The 2017 BWF World Championship in Glasgow witnessed India winning two medals courtesy PV Sindhu (silver) and Saina Nehwal (bronze).
