The Supreme Court expressed the hope that the laws which will be constituted by the Center will be taken into account of Muslim organizations and Sharia law concerns.

After the Supreme Court’s decision on the three divorces, the Muslim Personal Law Board convened the meeting.

The three divorces were termed as unconstitutional by the Supreme Court by the majority and it has been eliminated from today. Three out of five judges have declared three divorces as unconstitutional. The rest of the judges who have left it on Parliament.

Justice Khahr said – Divorce does not violate Article 14, 15, 21 and 25 of the Constitution. Let me know here that Article 14 and 15 give equal rights to every citizen. I.e. discrimination can not be against on the basis of caste religion, language or gender. Article 21 entitles every citizen to live with respect.

If any divorce occurs in these 6 months, it will be considered invalid.
