Madhya Pradesh: BJP occupying 26 of the 43 bodies in the state, Congress get 14

Bhopal: The ruling BJP has won a major victory in the election results of the Panchayat representatives along with the president and councilor of 43 urban bodies of Madhya Pradesh. BJP has occupied the office of 26 urban bodies, while Congress has been reduced to the post of 14 bodies. Independents were captured on three bodies. There were 161 candidates for the post of CHAIRMAN. There were 2,133 candidates for the post of councilor.

 




In this election, the ruling party BJP and the opposition Congress were face-to-face and it was being given a lot of importance.

Let me tell you that for the 43 urban bodies, on August 11, around eight lakh voters had exercised their votes.

Besides this, counting of votes for 5,631 panchs, 74 Sarpanchs, 14 district panchayat members, 3 district panchayat members and 356 punch and 23 Sarpanchs are also being counted.
