Miss World 2017: Manushi Chhillar wins the crown for India 17 years after Priyanka Chopra

Manushi Chillar of India has won the World’s Favorite 2017 title in Miss World competition organized in China. Priyanka Chopra named the title to India in 2000 before Manushi. Manushi Chillar of Haryana is a medical student. First runner-up Miss England Stefanie Hill and Miss Mexico Andrea Meza were made second runner-up.

At Miss Wold 2017, Chhillar was named one of the five winners of the Beauty with a Purpose award at Miss World 2017 on 18 November in Sanya City Arena, China. The other winners of the title are contestants from South Africa, Vietnam, Indonesia and Philippines.




Chhillar, born to doctor parents, studied in St. Thomas School in Delhi and Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat.

Let’s say that Aishwarya Rai, from Priyanka Chopra to Diana Hayden, till now, six Indian beauties have got Miss World title.
