Narendra Modi in Varanasi: PM modi released a postal stamp on Ramayana

Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the postage stamp collection on various aspects of the life of Lord Rama yesterday. While releasing the ticket collection in Tulsi Manas temple here, PM Modi said, “This is the first such ticket collection in which many aspects of Lord Ramchand’s life have been displayed through different stamps.”

He said, “The life of Lord Ram is inspiring for every person.” Modi said while mentioning Mahatma Gandhi that if we remember Mahatma Gandhi, Lord Rama had become a mantra of his life from infancy.




He said that he could unveil this stamp in the Vigyan Bhavan or the Prime Minister’s residence in Delhi but then the idea came that Navaratri is a sacred festival, and in the life of Ram ji, the Dussehra and Vijayshashmi have special significance. Here Tulasi das ji’s memories are still alive, there can not be a bigger places than such Manas temple for the release of this ticket.

PM Modi said that the postage stamp has its own importance in our country and the world. The postage stamps are history in a way. Postage stamps also work as an brand ambassador.
