Revival of Barauni compost factory started at a cost of six and a half Crore: Sushil Modi

Patna: Arun Gupta, MD of Hindustan Fertilizers Ltd., met the Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi on Friday and informed about the progress of the revival work of the Baroni Fertilizer Factory.

The Deputy Chief Minister assured all possible assistance for the project. Modi said that last year the Center had decided to revive the Gorakhpur, Sindri Baruni compost factory. Six and a half million rupees will be spent on this.

Commercial production of neem-coated urea is likely to start commercial production in Barauni by 2020. The factory will be based on natural gas and its capacity will be 12.70 lakh metric tonnes per annum urea production.




Modi said that with the revival of the factory where employment opportunities will be created at the local level, Bihar’s development will get a new momentum.
