The Board has said in an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court that in the form of a form of divorce, it has been decided to discourage the three divorced tradition that three times the ‘social boycott’ of Muslims who adopted the way to divorce ‘And reduce the incidence of such divorce.

The Muslim Personal Law Board has said in the affidavit that it has passed a resolution against the tradition of triple talaq in its working committee meeting on April 15-16.

It is also stated in the affidavit that “Shariah’s attitude about divorce is very clear that without divorcing for any reason, it is not the right way to declare divorce and divorce three times at once. The five-member constitution bench, chaired by Chief Justice Jagdish Singh Khehar, on May 18, appealed challenging the constitutional validity of divorce three times in a row, on various petitions including the Center, Muslim Personal Law Board and the All India Muslim Women’s Law Board. The hearings were completed on the pleas. Now in this case the court’s decision is awaiting.
