Lucknow: The All India Muslim Women’s Personal Law Board and the All India Shi’a Personal Law Board, today terming the judgment given on behalf of the Supreme Court of the three divorces as the victory of Islam and the Muslim women of the country, said that in the name of divorce, There is hope for justice against women.

Shaista Amber, president of the All India Muslim Women’s Law Board, said that the decision of the Supreme Court is historic for Muslim society. This is the victory of Muslim women of the country, but more importantly, it is the victory of Islam. It is expected that in the future, three divorces will be eliminated forever.

He said that so far three divorces have led to oppression of Muslim women, whereas there is no places in Islam for three divorce . It was just an unjust arrangement made by some so-called religious leaders who had ruined the lives of millions of women. This decision has given Muslim women a new hope.




Shaista said, “Supreme Court has said that there should be a law in Parliament within six months without tampering with Shariat. I believe this law will be built without any pressure and will give Muslim women the path to prosperity. ”

Maulana Wali Rahmani, general secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, who was the main party in the three divorces case, refused to comment on the Supreme Court’s decision and said that the board will decide the next step.

All India Shi’a Personal Law Board spokesman Maulana Yasub Abbas welcomed the Supreme Court order saying that now the injustice done to Muslim women in the name of three divorces in the country will be prevented.

He said, “During the era of Hazrat Muhammad Sahab, there was no arrangement for three divorces. I request the Parliament to make laws on the issue of humanity, in line with the demands of natural justice. “
