Yuvraj Singh get rest,not drop from team: MSK Prasad

Indian National Selection Committee chief MSK Prasad has said Yuvraj Singh not to drop for a one-day series against Sri Lanka that he but has been given rest to check the other players.

According to MSK Prasad, “Yuvraj Singh has not been left out of the team, we have given comfort. We have created a policy under which a few players will be given a chance during the next 4 to 5 months.” Prasad has said this in a recent press conference.

 




It is important that Yuvraj was in India on the ICC Champions Trophy and West Indies tour in England in June but his performance in both of them was not well. Prasad also said that keeping the 2019 World Cup in mind, the process of replacing the players is going on.

MSK Prasad said, “After 4 to 5 months, it will be known who is in the competition for the 2019 World Cup. Doors have not been closed for Yuvraj and Suresh Raina but we are making tough fitness parameters for the 2019 World Cup. Any player spreads in fitness parameters, will not be considered. “
